About this role
A full‑time Head of Human Resources role in Lagos, responsible for leading HR and administration to support the bank’s objectives. It targets candidates with strong HR leadership experience and relevant qualifications.
What you would do
- Lead HR and administration functions aligned with business goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, and succession planning.
- Manage performance appraisal and employee development processes.
- Drive employee engagement, culture, welfare, and recognition initiatives.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
- Develop and enforce HR policies, compliance, stakeholder relations, and reporting.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, or HRCI); MCP is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 8 years HR experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of performance management, labour law, payroll and employee relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
