• Build the operational efficiency layer, including trip and route optimisation, task allocation and capacity management for field officers.
• Own the platform's client-facing surface, including APIs and webhooks and the back office used by other units.
• Deliver a native mobile experience for field officers.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on production work and strong backend depth (Java and Spring Boot).
• At least 5 years of engineering leadership, including managing Engineering Managers.
• A track record of progressing from individual contributor to leadership, not having moved into management early.
• Capability across backend, web and mobile layers with credibility in all three.
• Experience building platforms used by multiple internal user groups and business units, with flexibility to meet unforeseen requirements.
• Strong collaboration with product and business stakeholders, translating operational needs into engineering solutions.
