About this role
Head of City Utilities at Alaro City in Lekki, Lagos, a senior role responsible for planning, building and operating city-scale utilities (water, power, gas, telecom and ICT) and coordinating with multiple teams and regulators.
What you would do
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities affecting Alaro City utilities.
- Oversee financial and business strategy, budgeting and planning for utilities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for utilities operations.
- Manage operations and maintenance of utilities infrastructure.
- Prepare regular reports on utility status and performance.
- Enforce best practices and maintain regulatory and stakeholder relationships.

- Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in engineering or utility infrastructure.
- Experience in construction, operation and maintenance of utilities infrastructure.
- Experience with gas utilities and sewage treatment.
- Experience with the commercial aspects of utility sales.
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (plus).
- Leadership experience in an engineering or construction firm (major plus).
