Head of City Utilities - Epe

About this role

A senior role to lead and oversee Alaro City’s city-scale utilities business (water, power, gas, telecom/ICT), aligning strategy, operations and regulatory compliance for the Lagos project. Point person for utilities across construction, delivery, and collaboration with Rendeavour management and other cities.

What you would do

• Develop and execute the utility business model and strategy.
• Oversee budgeting, planning and development for utilities.
• Prepare and implement policies and maintenance procedures.
• Manage operations, maintenance and personnel within utilities.
• Prepare regular reports on utility status and performance.
• Coordinate with other teams, regulators and clients to integrate project deliverables.

What they are asking for

• Minimum of 15 years of hands-on engineering or utility infrastructure experience.
• Experience in construction, operation and maintenance of utilities infrastructure.
• Experience with gas utilities and sewage treatment.
• Experience with the commercial aspects of utility sales.
• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (plus leadership experience in engineering or construction).
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder negotiation skills.
