Head of Business and Enterprise

About this role

A senior leadership role to drive the bank’s business growth, deposit mobilisation, lending and enterprise development across SME, micro-enterprise and retail segments. This position targets candidates with extensive experience in financial services and a track record in growth and relationship management, based in Port Harcourt.

What you would do

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and acquisition channels
• Drive deposit mobilisation and monitor cost of funds
• Lead cross-selling of lending and other products to existing customers
• Manage SME and micro-enterprise lending opportunities and coordinate with Risk & Credit
• Oversee enterprise development initiatives and partnerships to support business formalisation
• Direct marketing, customer acquisition strategies and performance management for Relationship Managers

What they are asking for

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 7 years in financial services
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role with responsibility for growth, deposits or lending
• Experience working with SMEs, micro-enterprises and informal businesses preferred
• First degree in Business Admin, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Accounting or related field
• Professional certification in banking/finance is desirable; MBA or postgraduate qualification advantageous
