Moniepoint is seeking a Director of IT Audit in Lagos to lead the technology audit function. What you would do
- Develop and execute a risk-based annual IT audit plan aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Direct audits of network security, cloud architecture (Google/AWS), IAM, data privacy, and business continuity/disaster recovery.
- Evaluate compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, SOC 2, and data privacy laws.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT audit team and promote professional development.
- Present audit findings, risk evaluations, and remediation plans to the Chief Audit Officer and senior management.
- Embed automated audit techniques, data analytics, and continuous controls monitoring into the audit lifecycle.

- 10+ years of progressive IT auditing, technology risk management, or cybersecurity experience, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) required; CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or CIA preferred.
- Deep technical understanding of cloud environments (Google and AWS), network infrastructure, database security, APIs, application controls, and ITGCs.
