About this role
A confidential client of Talentsquare is seeking a senior finance leader to head Investments and Treasury in Lagos. The role combines investment analysis, asset valuation, capital structuring, treasury management and readiness for capital markets. The successful candidate will evaluate opportunities, model scenarios, coordinate due diligence, structure transactions and drive initiatives through to completion. They will work closely with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions, capital allocation and unlocking asset value. The employer focuses on strengthening investment, financing and capital management capabilities across the organisation.
What you would do
- Lead financial analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities and assets
- Develop and review financial models, valuations and investment cases
- Assess returns, financing options and risk; conduct sensitivity analyses
- Translate complex financial information into decision-ready recommendations
- Value and monetise assets, and assess monetisation strategies
- Lead or coordinate asset-related financial assessments and development options
- Evaluate financing needs and develop appropriate capital structures
- Coordinate due diligence and manage financing workstreams to completion
- Maintain treasury processes including cash-flow forecasting and liquidity planning
- Prepare and support institutional financing discussions and capital markets readiness
