About this role

Role: Head, Internal Control based in Anambra. The position involves developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures, ensuring their application and monitoring of compliance, and driving standardisation of processes and internal controls across the organisation. It requires a BSc or HND in Accounting, ICAN qualification as an added advantage, and a minimum of 10 years' practical experience, with experience from manufacturing companies.

What you would do

• Develop policies and procedures for internal control and ensure their implementation and monitoring of compliance.
• Deliver timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies.
• Initiate action plans and monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies.
• Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevant audit findings.
• Spot, assess and address risks and translate them into impact analysis.
• Initiate and develop control policies.
