About this role
Head, Group FP&A at Moniepoint responsible for designing and owning the Group-wide FP&A framework, consolidation, and reporting across all subsidiaries (Moniepoint Nigeria, Moniepoint Kenya, MonieWorld, Moniepoint Technologies). It is a group-level role focused on setting standards and consolidating outputs for markets that maintain their own standalone FP&A teams, rather than day-to-day BU finance work.
What you would do
- Design and own the Group FP&A framework, including forecasting architecture, budget process, and reporting standards for all entities
- Consolidate entity and BU forecasts into a single Group P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, with currency toggle and intercompany eliminations
- Own the annual Group budget calendar and process, including templates, timelines, challenge sessions, and Board approval
- Produce the consolidated Group forecast for the multi-year period, reconciled monthly to actuals with a clear variance bridge
- Lead monthly and quarterly Group-level reporting cycles (management accounts, Board packs, investor-grade reporting) and support closing timelines
- Set FP&A standards across the Group, build the KPI and unit-economics framework, lead scenario modelling for strategic decisions, and manage FP&A analysts
What they are asking for
- 8-10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, including building forecasting frameworks from scratch
- Proven experience consolidating multi-entity, multi-currency forecasts and management accounts
- Background in banking, fintech, or another regulated, fast-growth environment
- Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel at architect level); comfortable owning models spanning multiple entities and currencies; ACA / ACCA / CFA or equivalent
- Proven ability to operate effectively as a remote, senior finance leader across time zones and geographies
