What you would do

• Lead and organise the purchasing unit and team under your responsibility.
• Coordinate purchase requests, select vendors, issue tenders or RFQs, evaluate quotes, create purchase orders and track delivery.
• Ensure all contractual documents and approvals are validated at the appropriate level.
• Oversee reception, management and follow-up of POs until payment and receipt.
• Input purchase data into SAP and provide global reporting of team activities.
• Collaborate with P2P to resolve supplier payment issues.
• Identify savings opportunities and drive cost-effective purchases.
• Ensure QA/QC and relevant certificates are specified in POs and verified.
• Monitor supplier performance and perform regular vendor evaluations.
• Provide guidance and training to junior buyers and ensure compliance with GTC and procurement procedures.
