Head, Consumer Banking

About this role

Based in Lagos, Moneyfield Microfinance Bank Limited seeks a Head, Consumer Banking to lead the bank's consumer banking business, including CASA, retail banking and designated big corporate accounts. The role drives deposit mobilisation, customer acquisition, portfolio growth, revenue generation and relationship deepening, and provides leadership to the Consumer Banking team to deliver the bank's financial and strategic objectives. It reports to the Head, Business Development.

What you would do

• Develop and implement the Consumer Banking strategy and annual business plan aligned with the bank's objectives.
• Drive CASA growth, deposit mobilisation and acquisition for retail and designated corporate accounts.
• Grow revenue and deepen wallet share by expanding product penetration and cross-selling.
• Lead the Consumer Banking team, including performance management, customer relationship management and business development.
• Ensure risk, compliance and portfolio quality, including adherence to laws, regulations, policy and KYC/AML requirements.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, digital banking and risk teams to develop propositions and monitor market conditions, adjusting strategies accordingly.
