Hausa Language Teacher

About this role

A part‑time on‑site role teaching Hausa to Early Years and Primary pupils at De Alpha Regal Academy in Abuja, with lesson planning and material development aligned to the national curriculum. The position is suitable for someone with Hausa fluency and experience teaching young children, within a Christian school environment.

What you would do

• Develop Hausa lessons and materials aligned with the national curriculum
• Teach on-site lessons for 3 to 6 hours per week
• Adapt activities to Early Years and Primary learners
• Practice simple conversation, reading and writing with pupils
• Monitor pupil progress and adjust lessons accordingly
• Support a respectful, diligent and disciplined classroom atmosphere
