Hardware Engineer

About this role

The Hardware Engineer (Repair Centre) acts as the technical authority within the repair centre, linking hands-on repair work with engineering-grade quality control. The role ensures repaired terminals are fit for redeployment, drives technician competency improvements, and investigates and eliminates quality failures.

What you would do

• Design electronic hardware circuits to specifications.
• Create PCB layouts as specified.
• Maintain and update parts lists and bills of materials for designs.
• Develop processes and procedures to support technician competency for repairs to the specified standards and requirements.
• Create, maintain and update repair procedures.
• Test products and tools and propose modifications to address design issues based on performance evaluation.

• Experience in terminal repair is an advantage.
