Group HR Manager
About this role
The role is for a Group HR Manager to provide strategic leadership of the group’s human resources function, aligning people strategy with business growth and governance across all subsidiaries in the Rivers region. It targets professionals with extensive HR leadership experience and multi-unit oversight.
What you would do
- Develop and implement a Group-wide HR strategy aligned to business objectives.
- Establish consistent HR policies, processes and governance across subsidiaries.
- Advise senior leadership on workforce and people-related matters.
- Lead workforce planning, organisation design and leadership development.
- Oversee recruitment for senior and critical roles and strengthen employer branding.
- Develop and manage a group-wide performance, reward, learning and governance framework.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, Psychology or related field.
- Master's degree in HR, Business Administration or Management is an advantage.
- Professional membership/certification with CIPM, SHRM, HRCI or equivalent.
- 8–12 years of progressive HR experience with managerial or strategic leadership.
- Experience managing HR across multiple business units or locations.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment law and HR analytics/HRIS.
