Group HR / Business Support Services Manager
About this role
A senior Group HR and Business Support Services Manager is needed to lead HR operations, organisational development and corporate support functions across multiple business units in Lagos. The role focuses on aligning HR strategies with business goals, driving efficiency in support services, and fostering a high‑performance culture. The position reports to the Group CEO/Managing Director and requires overseeing HR, facilities, procurement, and vendor management, while guiding leadership development and change initiatives. What you would do
- Contribute to business continuity, risk management and crisis response frameworks.
- Develop and implement digital transformation initiatives within HR and support services.
- Lead organisational development projects including change management and leadership development.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and industry standards across jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement group-wide HR strategies, policies and procedures.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between HR, Finance, IT and Operations.
- Champion employee engagement, recognition and retention initiatives.
- Oversee administrative, facilities and corporate support functions.
- Mentor and develop HR and support services teams and leadership pipelines.
- Drive performance management with KPIs, appraisals and development plans.
What they are asking for
- BSc in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or related field.
- Masters degree is an added advantage.
- Age 37–47 years.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive HR/organisational development experience in a medium to large, diverse business environment (manufacturing, banking, real estate, agro-business, capital markets, fintech, etc).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR software/Sage or similar packages.
