Grill Supervisor

About this role

A full-time Grill Supervisor role based in Lekki, Lagos, overseeing daily grill operations, ensuring quality and safety, and coordinating grill staff to meet Bukka Hut standards. Suitable for candidates with prior grilling or kitchen supervisory experience and relevant catering qualifications.

What you would do

• Supervise and coordinate daily grill operations
• Prepare and grill meat, chicken, fish, suya and other items as required
• Ensure food is prepared to Bukka Hut standards and recipes
• Monitor portion sizes, taste, presentation and product quality
• Maintain stock records, monitor stock levels and inform management when replenishment is needed
• Supervise and train grillers and other kitchen staff, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance

What they are asking for

• HND or BSc in Catering, Hospitality Management, Food Science or related field (advantage)
• 2–3 years’ experience in grilling or kitchen operations; prior supervisory experience is an advantage
• Strong grilling and food preparation skills, leadership and communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene; ability to manage stock and minimise wastage
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail; basic computer/record-keeping skills
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays; physically fit and able to work in a hot kitchen environment
