Graphics Designer
About this role
A Graphics Designer is needed to create visually appealing, brand-consistent designs for Adventure Capital Group to support marketing, product promotion and business development. The role involves turning briefs into high-quality visuals for digital and print across channels, aligned with the company’s brand identity. The employer is a venture capital investor active in consulting and Nigeria’s FinTech sector, with investments in high-growth early-stage businesses. The position is based in Lagos and targets candidates with a strong design portfolio and experience in digital and print media.
What you would do
- Design assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, advertisements, presentations and other marketing channels
- Create promotional materials such as flyers, banners, brochures, posters, infographics and business cards
- Develop visual concepts and layouts that convey the company's products, services and brand messages
- Produce designs for internal communications, events and business presentations
- Adapt existing designs for different formats and platform requirements
- Ensure consistency with brand colours, typography, logos and imagery
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to support campaigns and promotions
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Manage multiple design projects with deadlines and maintain organised design files
- Coordinate with external printers and vendors for print production
What they are asking for
- Bachelor degree, HND or relevant diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or related field
- At least 2–3 years of relevant graphic design experience; fintech/financial services or digital marketing exposure is an advantage
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, visual storytelling, layout design and brand consistency
- Experience designing for digital platforms and print media
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, CorelDRAW or equivalent tools
- Working knowledge of Figma and Canva is an advantage
- Understanding of typography, colour theory, composition and branding principles
- Knowledge of digital design specifications, image optimisation and print production requirements
- Ability to interpret briefs and translate business objectives into visuals
- Good attention to detail, time management, organisation and problem-solving skills
