About this role
A full-time Graphic Designer based in Nigeria will act as OPay's on-the-ground creative producer, adapting global assets for the Nigerian market while ensuring brand consistency across local touchpoints. The role targets candidates with strong localised design experience and comfort coordinating with local photographers, vendors, and teams.
What you would do
- Retouch, colour-grade and edit footage from local photographers and deliver assets weekly.
- Create native social visuals for platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and X.
- Localise global and regional materials for the Nigerian market, including use of Pidgin English and local cultural cues.
- Coordinate local proofing, printing and vendor workflows for billboards, posters, and event materials.
- Review output from vendors to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and local requirements.
- Develop reusable local templates from Beijing master templates to reduce Beijing team workload.
What they are asking for
- Based in Nigeria with Nigerian nationality or long-term residency and fluent in English plus native-level Pidgin or local language.
- 3–5+ years of design experience.
- Expert in Photoshop and Lightroom for retouching and colour grading.
- Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects or CapCut for video; able to localise templates in Figma.
- Proven track record delivering visuals for social, advertising or events to brief.
- Strong ability to maintain brand consistency and make localisation decisions; self-directed and able to work asynchronously.
