Graphic Designer

About this role

Rivy, a Nigerian fintech focused on clean energy finance, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Marketing & Communications team in Lagos (hybrid). The role entails creating high-quality visual assets for Rivy’s brands and products and managing design projects from concept to delivery. The designer will translate marketing objectives into compelling designs, maintain brand consistency, and collaborate with multiple teams on campaigns and collateral. The position reports to the Marketing Lead and requires strong brand understanding, project ownership, and cross-channel design experience.

What you would do

• Create assets for social media, digital campaigns, website, email, events and presentations
• Own design projects from concept through execution
• Manage multiple design requests and meet timelines
• Research visuals to inform direction for Rivy’s audience and industry
• Translate briefs and marketing objectives into visual concepts
• Adapt campaigns across formats, platforms and audience segments
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on campaigns, launches and events
• Develop event and offline collateral (flyers, brochures, banners, booth materials)
• Create brand-aligned concepts for Rivy and its products including EnergyStack
• Collaborate with Product and other teams on design requirements and maintain design files and assets

What they are asking for

• 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience
• Strong portfolio across multiple formats and channels
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, working knowledge of Figma
• Understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, colour and brand systems
• Ability to translate objectives into creative concepts and to explain design decisions
• Experience with digital and social media design requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
• Comfort with feedback, iteration and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with brands, agencies, fintech, technology, financial services or corporate-facing industries preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished work
