Graduate Trainee - Spare Parts
About this role
A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Plc is hiring a Graduate Trainee in Spare Parts based in Lagos. The role involves assisting with receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing spare parts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records on the ERP system. You will monitor stock levels, identify fast and slow movers, and assist with stock counts and reconciliation. The trainee will help identify spare parts needed for vehicle maintenance and support requisitions, purchase requests and stock transfer documentation, as well as track outstanding orders and follow up with Procurement and suppliers.
What you would do
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and issuing spare parts
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records on the ERP system
- Monitor stock levels and identify fast-moving and slow-moving items
- Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation
- Identify spare parts required for vehicle maintenance and servicing
- Assist in preparing and processing material requisitions and purchase requests
- Assist in tracking outstanding spare parts orders and follow up on deliveries with Procurement and suppliers
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing and Supply
- Completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption certificate
- Basic knowledge of inventory management, warehousing or automotive spare parts (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with ERP systems (advantageous)
- High accuracy, integrity, attention to detail and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
