Graduate Trainee Programme (Production Engineer)

About this role

A 18-month graduate career development programme for fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years’ experience, across specialities such as Foundry, Machining, Fabrication, Engineering Design and 3D Printing. Open to graduates with relevant engineering or related degrees, and with CAD skills. The programme is suitable for Nigerian Foundries Limited employees or applicants seeking early career development in Lagos.

What you would do

• Participate in the 18-month development programme
• Engage in the assigned specialty area (Foundry, Machining, Fabrication, Engineering Design or 3D Printing)
• Complete assessments including IQ, personality, Excel/Word, CAD and communication evaluations
• Apply CAD tools (SolidWorks/Fusion 360/AutoCAD) as part of training
• Demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills during the programme
• Contribute to project work and learn a range of engineering processes

• BSc/BEng/HND in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Metallurgical/Materials or related
• CAD proficiency with SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or AutoCAD
• Maximum age 27 years
• Strong communication, problem-solving and Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills
• Experience: fresh graduate or 0-2 years
• Selection involves IQ, personality, Excel/Word, CAD tests and communication assessment
