Graduate Trainee (Information Technology)

A full-time Graduate Trainee in Information Technology is open at Reliable Steel and Plastic Industries Limited, based in Onitsha, Anambra. The role targets new IT graduates seeking practical experience in supporting IT systems, networks and peripherals within a manufacturing setting.
What you would do
- Assist with installation, configuration and maintenance of LANs and related network components.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot printers, monitors, computers and other IT peripherals.
- Provide first-level technical support to staff for hardware and software issues.
- Assist with OS, application and peripheral installations and configurations.
- Monitor network connectivity and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Maintain records of IT assets, repairs, installations and technical issues.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- Completed NYSC with valid discharge/exemption certificate.
- 1–2 years of practical IT support or networking experience.
- Knowledge of LAN installation, wiring, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with IT peripherals (printers, monitors, PCs).
- Good knowledge of Windows OS and common office applications.
