About this role
ANRML, part of the African Industries Group, operates an iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni, Kaduna. The company is seeking a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join on a full-time basis in Kaduna, focused on mechanical and electrical engineering. The programme offers hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to plant operations and maintenance activities. The role involves working with maintenance teams, learning company standards and safety procedures, and contributing to equipment reliability and performance.
What you would do
- Assist in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance planning and execution
- Learn and apply engineering standards, safety and operational procedures
- Participate in on-the-job training across mechanical and electrical sections
- Prepare and present reports on tasks and learning progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
What they are asking for
- Technical aptitude with willingness to learn in an industrial environment
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates encouraged)
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or maintenance software is an advantage
- BEng / BTech / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
