A Government and Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead engagement with government bodies, regulators and key industry stakeholders, supporting business growth in the upstream oil and gas sector. Suitable for candidates with substantial regulatory, government affairs and business development experience in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

What you would do

• Lead strategic engagement with government institutions and regulatory bodies
• Develop and implement government and regulatory affairs strategies
• Identify and pursue business opportunities and contracts
• Manage key stakeholder relationships and accounts
• Provide market intelligence and insights to support decision making
• Prepare and deliver presentations and negotiations with stakeholders

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Social Sciences or a related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Nigeria’s upstream oil and gas sector
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas regulatory landscape and policies
• Familiarity with Nigerian Content requirements, NCDMB and NAPIMS
• Experience in oil and gas sales, marketing and business development with E&P companies
• Proven track record in contract wins, business development and stakeholder engagement
