About this role

ND Western Limited is hiring a Geoscientist to join its Technical Subsurface team in Delta. The role covers geoscience work such as seismic interpretation, geological modelling and reservoir characterisation, and supports well planning activities.

What you would do

• Perform 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and subsurface structural mapping
• Develop or contribute to geological models and reservoir characterisation
• Utilise industry-standard geoscience software such as Petrel, ArcGIS or Kingdom Suite
• Support well planning by identifying drilling locations
• Evaluate geological risks relevant to drilling and operations
• Analyse rock and fluid properties including porosity, permeability and saturation

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Earth Sciences or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant project experience in geoscience, geological modelling or seismic interpretation
• Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Petrel, ArcGIS or Kingdom Suite
• Strong grounding in 2D/3D seismic interpretation, subsurface structural mapping and reservoir characterisation
• Practical ability to support well planning operations and identify drilling locations
• Ability to analyse rock and fluid properties such as porosity, permeability and saturation
