General Physician
About this role
A General Physician role based in Lagos for Health Connect 24x7, focusing on telemedicine and on-site care, handling patient calls, providing medical guidance and coordinating with care teams. Suitable for doctors available for NYSC and able to work rotating shifts.
What you would do
- Receive patient calls directly or via care coordinators and follow policies to provide care guidance
- Direct patients to appropriate care venues and ensure timely access to services
- Record encounters and advice in the electronic Health Connect 24x7 system
- Communicate clearly with patients and care coordinators about outcomes and expectations
- Participate in tele-monitoring and care integration activities with other parts of the delivery system
- Attend health education events and clinical workshops and participate in one-to-one patient consultations
