General Manger (Marketing)
About this role
DCSL Corporate Services Limited seeks a General Manager (Marketing) to lead marketing strategy and execution from Lagos, with operations also in Abuja and Port-Harcourt. The role targets candidates with extensive marketing and business development experience, including senior leadership experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or other regulated sectors. The company provides company secretarial, governance, immigration and training services to governmental, corporate and individual clients. What you would do
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with growth and revenue goals
- Drive customer acquisition, retention and market penetration initiatives
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities
- Strengthen the company brand positioning and corporate image
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, corporate organisations and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement effective go-to-market strategies
- Monitor marketing performance and manage budgets
- Ensure returns on investment from marketing activities
- Provide leadership to the marketing function and guide team development
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Economics or related discipline
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Marketing is an added advantage
- Professional marketing certification such as CIM is highly desirable
- Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g. CIIN) or knowledge of the insurance industry an advantage
- Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in marketing, business development, brand management or related roles
- At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership position
- Experience in insurance, financial services or other regulated industries preferred
