What you would do

• Provide strategic leadership for all mechanical maintenance, reliability and equipment performance activities across the plant.
• Develop and continuously improve the plant's mechanical maintenance and reliability strategy.
• Drive preventive, predictive, condition-based and corrective maintenance programmes to enhance equipment availability.
• Monitor critical equipment and implement timely interventions to reduce downtime.
• Lead maintenance planning for major plant equipment and coordinate shutdowns and overhauls.
• Oversee maintenance projects, ensuring safety and cost control.
• Review performance trends to identify recurring failures and opportunities for improvement.
• Champion root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Manage the CMMS for planning, work orders and performance monitoring.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Maintenance Management or Business Administration is an advantage.
• Professional engineering membership or certification would be an advantage.
