General Manager (Restaurant)
About this role
A General Manager is needed to lead daily operations of a new restaurant in Lekki, Lagos. The role targets candidates with proven restaurant leadership experience who can drive operational excellence, financial results, customer satisfaction and staff performance.
What you would do
- Lead the team to meet operational and financial targets
- Address customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Monitor food quality, service, hygiene, safety and customer satisfaction
- Apply company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate kitchen and service teams for smooth operations
- Manage procurement, inventory and stock control to minimise waste and losses
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field
- 4–6 years of restaurant management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with restaurant management software is an advantage
- Experience in managing budgets and operating costs in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory control, KPIs and team development
