What you would do
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety and process discipline across the factory
- Manage raw materials, yields and waste to optimise production
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to common operational goals
- Maintain inventory control, documentation and operational reporting
- Oversee production planning to maximise capacity and minimise downtime
- Promote accountability, professionalism and continuous improvement across all teams
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Food Technology or related field
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
- At least 7 years in a senior operational leadership role in factory or plant operations
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality, maintenance systems and supply chain coordination
- Experience managing shift-based operations and large workforces
- 15+ years of experience in FMCG, food processing, agro-processing or industrial manufacturing environments
