About this role
The General Manager EPCIC in Lagos is a senior leadership role that directs the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) operations to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget. The position requires strategic planning, resource management and stakeholder engagement in line with company policies and delegated authority.
What you would do
- Direct and oversee all EPCIC operations and project execution to deliver safely, on time and within budget.
- Allocate operational resources to meet project requirements and organisational objectives.
- Approve operational plans and expenditures within delegated limits, ensuring cost and schedule control.
- Recommend and deploy project personnel to ensure the right talent is assigned to projects.
- Select vendors, subcontractors and service providers to support project needs.
- Escalate major commercial, contractual, financial and operational risks to senior management for mitigation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management or related field.
- Professional certification such as PMP, COREN, MBA or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of EPC/EPCIC project execution and oil & gas industries.
- 12–15 years of relevant experience in EPC, EPCIC, oil & gas, energy, construction or engineering.
- At least 5 years in a senior management or project leadership role with proven experience managing multidisciplinary EPCIC projects, budgets, contracts, subcontractors and major clients; experience with Nigerian and/or international oil & gas operators or EPC contractors is desirable.
