General Manager
About this role
Neveah Limited is recruiting for a General Manager to lead its plastic manufacturing business. The role is based in Kano and is full-time, reporting to senior management. The company focuses on manufacturing, with activities spanning production, procurement, sales, finance, logistics, and quality, and aims to drive growth, efficiency, profitability, and sustainable development across its operations.
What you would do
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, health, safety and quality requirements.
- Create and manage annual operating plans, budgets and performance objectives.
- Provide leadership for manufacturing and commercial operations.
- Review performance and report findings and recommendations to management/board.
- Monitor key performance indicators and ensure targets are met by departments.
- Motivate and develop the management team to achieve objectives.
- Improve production efficiency, capacity utilisation, cost control, waste reduction and profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing facility and mitigate operational risks.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, Manufacturing or related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations and management.
- Experience in achieving revenue, profitability, production and operational targets.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, cost management, supply chain and commercial operations.
- Proven experience managing a manufacturing business or large-scale production operation.
- Excellent financial and business acumen.
