About this role
A GBV Case Worker is needed to manage women and girls safe spaces, run GBV case management and outreach, and support adolescent girls in the community. The role targets individuals in humanitarian settings, with a focus on survivor-centred care and GBV prevention.
What you would do
- Manage and oversee women and girls safe spaces and activities for adolescent girls.
- Set up information desks to provide Sexual and Reproductive Health information.
- Refer survivors to health, legal, shelter, livelihoods, and mental health services with consent.
- Provide direct support, counselling, and case management following standard operating procedures and IASC guidelines.
- Ensure Do No Harm principles in all engagements and conduct GBV and WASH outreach in the community.
- Coordinate with MEAL and line manager to compile monthly data and donor reports; prepare weekly case updates and activity reports.

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social sciences, public health, nursing or related field from a certified tertiary institution.
- At least 2 years of humanitarian experience in protection.
- Experience in GBVIMS and case management.
- Fluent in English and Hausa (written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in the community and stay in implementation area; willingness to take initiative and work collaboratively.
