What you would do

• Diagnose, dismantle, repair and reassemble gas generator engines and alternators independently.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements and spark plug adjustments.
• Carry out minor and major engine overhauls.
• Test and tune generator systems for performance, fuel efficiency and emissions compliance.
• Troubleshoot control panels, wiring harnesses and excitation systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical components related to gas generators.
• Conduct system testing to ensure proper operation after maintenance or repairs.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on gas generator maintenance and overhaul experience.
• Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, Jenbacher, Cummins or Perkins is a strong plus.
• Ability to diagnose and complete major repairs from start to finish unaided.
• Strong knowledge of gas fuel systems, ignition systems and electronic governors.
• Technical diploma, trade certificate or mechanical/electrical engineering degree.
• Willingness to work in or relocate to Igbesa, Ogun State.
