About this role

West African Exploration and Production (WAEP) is recruiting for a Gas Development & Infrastructure role in Lagos. The role leads gas development and infrastructure initiatives from concept through execution to deliver gas gathering, processing, transportation and related infrastructure in a safe and commercially viable manner.

What you would do

• Create gas development concepts and infrastructure plans aligned with asset and commercial goals.
• Lead feasibility, pre-FEED/FEED and engineering studies for gas gathering, processing, pipelines and export infrastructure.
• Combine input from subsurface, production, facilities, commercial, regulatory and project teams into coherent development solutions.
• Define project scope, design basis, technical specifications, cost estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate engineering contractors, consultants, vendors and multidisciplinary teams; identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulatory requirements, HSE and Nigerian Content obligations.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Civil or related Engineering.
• 10-15 years' relevant oil and gas project/facilities experience with strong gas infrastructure exposure.
• Professional engineering registration strongly preferred.
• Project management certification strongly preferred.
