Gallery/Sales Officer

About this role

This role is for individuals to work in a clinic’s gallery and sales team in Lagos, providing customer service and assisting patients with eyewear purchases. The position involves greeting customers, answering inquiries, recommending frames and lenses, and helping with insurance and simple administrative tasks. You will work under the supervision of the leadership and aim to meet sales targets while following company and local policies. Prior experience in similar roles is advantageous, and fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to multitask are important attributes for this role.

What you would do

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and provide promotional information.
• Assist customers with choosing eyewear that fits their budget and needs.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to issues.
• Troubleshoot prescription-related problems and coordinate frame selections with measurements and prescriptions.
• Complete inventory counts and replenish stock as needed.
• Answer phone calls according to company guidelines.
• Track inventory and sales, submit patient insurance information, and perform basic bookkeeping.
• Recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit client needs.
• Show customers how to insert, remove, and care for contact lenses.
• Sell eyewear products including spectacles, sunglasses and contact lenses.
