Fund & Investment Manager
About this role
A Fund & Investment Manager is wanted to oversee and grow investment portfolios for Deutsche Partners Holdings Limited, based in Abuja. The role targets an experienced professional with a record in asset or fund management and strong investment judgement to manage strategies, performance, risk and compliance.
What you would do
- Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with fund objectives and risk appetite
- Manage and optimise investment portfolios for target risk-adjusted returns
- Conduct research, financial analysis and valuation of investment opportunities
- Identify, evaluate and recommend attractive opportunities across asset classes
- Prepare investment proposals, models and papers for Management and Investment Committee
- Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation, liquidity, benchmarks and risks; ensure compliance with mandates and regulations
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or related field
- 8–12 years of experience in asset management, fund management or related areas
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and international markets and portfolio management
- Demonstrated experience in managing investment portfolios or funds
- Ability to prepare investment papers and reports for senior management or committees
- Professional registration or qualifications (advantage: CFA, CIS or similar), SEC Nigeria licensing knowledge
