Full Stack Developer (Digital Transformation and Governance)

About this role

UBA seeks a full-stack developer who can blend development excellence with IT governance. The role involves building mission-critical applications while ensuring compliance with COBIT, ITIL, and regulatory requirements (PENCOM, GDPR, Nigeria DPA) in a highly regulated environment. The position is based in Lagos.

What you would do

• Design and develop full-stack applications using React, Vue, Node.js, Python, and Java.
• Integrate IT governance principles (COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001) into development practices.
• Lead development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Support ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management.
• Champion code reviews focused on governance, security, and auditability.
• Ensure systems comply with PENCOM requirements and data protection regulations.
