Full-Stack / Backend Developer - Core Banking Platform

About this role

Finova in Lagos is seeking an experienced Full-Stack/Backend Developer to manage and develop its financial technology and core banking systems. The role involves backend and frontend development, managing databases, APIs, transactions and wallets, and integrating banking and payment services with a focus on security, performance and reliability. The position offers a hybrid work setup with in-office days at Balogun, Ikeja on Mondays and Wednesdays; other days are work from home. Experience with fintech or banking systems is an advantage.

What you would do

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend applications.
• Manage databases, APIs, transactions, wallets, and financial integrations.
• Maintain system security, performance, and reliability.
• Integrate banking, payment, KYC, and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot system issues and manage production environments.
• Develop new features and improve existing systems.
