FTTX Planning and Rollout Manager

About this role

Aldelia Nigeria is seeking an experienced FTTX Planning and Rollout Manager to lead planning, design and deployment of fibre infrastructure in Ibadan, Oyo. The role combines FTTX network design, GIS planning, geomarketing and large-scale rollout execution, with leadership of multidisciplinary teams. responsibilities include developing GIS-based designs, creating deployment strategies, identifying high-potential areas, managing end-to-end rollout, coordinating civil works partners, and mentoring GIS analysts and survey teams. The position targets telecom professionals with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, and a background in relevant engineering or geospatial fields. What you would do

• Develop GIS-based network designs and deployment routes.
• Create deployment strategies for FTTX rollout.
• Lead end-to-end planning and rollout activities across Ibadan.
• Manage civil construction partners and tracking rollout milestones.
• Lead and mentor GIS analysts, network planners, and survey teams.
• Design scalable GPON/XGS-PON architectures and OSP infrastructure.
• Engage with government agencies, utility providers, and community stakeholders.

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geoinformatics, Geography or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in FTTX network planning and deployment.
• Experience leading network rollout programmes and contractor management.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Proven experience with ArcGIS, QGIS and GPON/XGS-PON network design.
• Knowledge of Nigerian telecoms landscape and regulatory environment is desirable.
