A Mid-Level Frontend Developer is sought to join Comercio Partners’ IT/Innovation team in Lagos. The role involves building and maintaining web and mobile web interfaces for the company’s digital platforms, translating designs into production-ready code, and collaborating with UI/UX designers and backend engineers. What you would do

• Develop and maintain user-facing features for web and mobile web applications.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create responsive, mobile-friendly applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript with React and Angular.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and mobile performance.
• Ensure UI/UX feasibility across devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Build and maintain reusable components aligned with design system and brand guidelines.
• Write automated tests and support end-to-end testing with QA.
• Integrate with backend APIs securely, managing authentication and error/loading states.
• Support frontend deployments and contribute to frontend architecture and workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of frontend development experience for web and mobile web applications.
• Strong in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React and Angular.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git and collaborative workflows.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail with ability to meet timelines.
• Experience with component libraries, design systems, Storybook or similar tools.
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Exposure to CI/CD, cloud environments, and frontend deployments on AWS.
• Experience building financial services interfaces such as dashboards and onboarding workflows is a plus.
