Fraud Investigation Officer (Remote)

The role is for a Fraud Investigation Officer who will work remotely from Lagos. The person will investigate suspected fraud, analyse transaction patterns, support fund recovery, and suggest improvements to controls to reduce fraud losses for Moniepoint. What you would do

• Investigate fraud cases and determine appropriate outcomes based on evidence.
• Analyse transaction patterns to identify fraud trends and emerging risks.
• Document investigation findings and maintain accurate case records.
• Support fund recovery efforts by engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases in a timely manner.
• Recommend process and control improvements based on investigation findings.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, Customer Support and other stakeholders to resolve fraud-related issues.
• Ensure investigations are completed within agreed service levels (SLAs).
