Forming Specialist

About this role

Forming Specialist position at Beta Glass Plc in Delta. The role coordinates the Forming Department's production activities to ensure bottles are produced in line with quality plans. It is suitable for candidates with a degree or HND in mechanical engineering, production engineering, glass technology or related fields.

What you would do

• Coordinate changes in production jobs to meet production requirements.
• Supervise the Forming Department to maintain quality and cleanliness of work areas.
• Identify and assess the department's activities and develop programmes to control activities that could adversely impact the environment.
• Maintain a hygienic environment during production and packaging.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and other relevant management systems.

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Glass Technology or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good oral and written communication and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
