Forklift Driver

About this role

NutriK FZE is seeking a Forklift Driver to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in its Kano facilities, moving, loading, unloading, and storing goods within warehouses or production areas. The role focuses on accurate inventory handling, compliance with safety standards, and supporting stock counts and labelling processes. The employer is a subsidiary of Nutriset Group that produces ready-to-use foods to support malnutrition treatment and prevention in Nigeria. The position is full-time and involves following operational procedures, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with supervisors and warehouse staff.

What you would do

• Assist in receiving, checking and dispatching goods
• Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment safely
• Inspect forklifts before use and report defects
• Load, unload and move goods to designated locations
• Ensure proper stacking and labelling of materials
• Follow PPE usage and health, safety and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate movement of goods as per warehouse instructions
• Support stock counts and physical inventory activities
• Complete basic operational records and checklists
• Move raw materials, finished goods and packaging materials as required
