Food Service Manager
About this role
Alan & Grant is seeking a Food Service Manager to own and grow the Food Service channel in the Lagos region, driving revenue growth, new customer acquisition and retention, and leading recipe switching initiatives. The role oversees a regional team including Key Account Officers, Telesales Officers and Delivery Officers to deliver results.
What you would do
- Deliver the regional Food Service revenue and customer targets.
- Lead, coach and manage the regional team through KPIs and performance reviews.
- Drive new customer acquisition and coverage growth across institutions, schools, eateries, vendors and caterers.
- Drive recipe switching, detailing and pre-selling execution in the field and convert them into sustained sales.
- Track performance by customer, route and officer; identify gaps, diagnose causes and implement recovery plans.
- Coordinate with the General Trade team and distributors to resolve stock availability and transaction issues affecting Food Service execution.

- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial or sales experience in FMCG, food service, HORECA or related B2B environment, with at least 2 years managing a field team.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue targets and growing a customer base.
- Strong business analysis skills; proficient in Excel (formulas, data analysis) and PowerPoint (building and presenting business reviews).
- Strong people leadership: setting KPIs, coaching and building the capability of a team.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with distributor and General Trade structures.
