Food & Nutrition Teacher

Ajao, Lagos based private school is recruiting a full-time Food and Nutrition Teacher to teach nutrition, food science, meal planning and cooking skills to students. The role is suitable for candidates with teaching qualifications and experience in Food and Nutrition or Home Economics.

What you would do

• Deliver theoretical and practical Food & Nutrition lessons
• Organise and supervise practical cooking sessions
• Teach healthy eating, food safety and hygiene
• Prepare students for practical and written examinations
• Ensure safety standards during practical sessions
• Support students in achieving examination objectives

What they are asking for

• B.Ed or B.Sc in Food/Nutrition/Home Economics or related field
• At least 2 years of proven experience in Food and Nutrition or Home Economics
• Practical experience in catering or food preparation is an advantage
• Passion for teaching healthy living
