What you would do
- Ensure prompt and efficient service of meals, snacks, functions and beverages to required standards.
- Maintain profit margins through cost control measures such as dockets, sales analysis, menu costing and cash checks.
- Ensure restaurants are clean and well maintained with flawless table appointments.
- Ensure waiters are well dressed and provide professional service.
- Keep bars clean and stocked with required items; ensure barmen are trained and professional.
- Ensure room service orders are executed promptly and meet standards; staff are dressed and courteous.
- Oversee efficient running of the banqueting department and keep rooms and cloakrooms clean and tidy.
- Act as Duty Manager when required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
