Fleet Tracking Analyst (Excel Expert)

The role involves overseeing real-time tracking of company trucks to ensure visibility, timeliness and safety of deliveries from warehouses to customers and depots. What you would do
- Monitor trucks in transit using GPS tracking and fleet management systems.
- Track locations, movement, speed and ETA of trucks; ensure visibility until delivery is completed.
- Communicate with drivers, transport providers, warehouses, customer service and sales teams on delivery progress.
- Escalate delays, breakdowns, accidents, security threats or unauthorized stops.
- Support route optimisation and recovery plans as required.
- Immediately report diversions, hijackings, thefts, accidents or prolonged delays and maintain incident logs.
- Coordinate with Security, truck providers and Logistics operations to resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to approved routes and journey management procedures; monitor transporter compliance.
- Produce daily movement and delivery status reports and document deviations and exceptions.
- Maintain records of communications and transit activities and generate KPI reports for OTIF, ETA accuracy and other metrics.

- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Accounting or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, fleet monitoring or transportation operations.
- Knowledge of GPS and fleet management systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with Excel; problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
