What you would do
- Monitor trucks in transit using GPS tracking systems and fleet management platforms.
- Track locations, movement, speed, and ETA of trucks; ensure visibility until delivery is completed.
- Maintain communication with drivers, transport providers, and internal teams; update on delivery progress.
- Escalate delays, breakdowns, security threats, or unauthorized stops; support route optimisation and recovery plans.
- Immediately report incidents such as diversions, hijackings, accidents, or prolonged delays and maintain incident logs.
- Coordinate with Security, transport providers, and Logistics operations to resolve issues.
- Ensure adherence to routes and journey management procedures; monitor transporter compliance with standards.
- Coordinate pre-trip inspections and verify insurance validity and compliance for transporters.
- Produce daily movement, delivery status, and KPI reports; document deviations and exceptions.
- Maintain records of communications and transit activities and contribute to daily pan-Nigeria depot operations reports.

- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, fleet monitoring, or transportation operations.
