Fleet Support Officer
About this role
A Fleet Support Officer role based in Lagos Island, Lagos, supporting real-time fleet monitoring, driver assistance and incident resolution to ensure efficient deliveries and smooth operations. The position involves coordinating truck allocations, monitoring GPS/tracking, reporting, and liaising with customers and vendors.
What you would do
- Monitor and escalate safety violations in real time
- Allocate trucks for approved backhaul operations
- Escalate GPS and tracking device issues for troubleshooting
- Assist drivers with operational concerns and conflicts
- Confirm daily delivery officers against assigned trucks
- Prepare and reconcile fleet visibility, On-Time Delivery and journey reports

- Bachelor's degree or HND in transport management, logistics, business administration, supply chain management or a related field
- Ability to work with drivers, customers, vendors and internal teams
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and related applications
- Experience with fleet tracking and journey management systems
- Previous experience in fleet operations, logistics or transport management is an advantage
- Strong communication, problem-solving and data reconciliation skills
